If you’ve visited our stall at any exhibition this year, chances are I’ve tried to talk you into a co-ord set. Guilty. But I have my reasons, and they’re practical ones, not seller’s ones.
Mornings become easy
A co-ord is one decision. Top and bottom already agree with each other — you just put it on and you look like you planned your day. On the mornings when the tiffin isn’t packed and the cab is waiting, this is worth more than any fashion advice I can give you.
You’re actually buying three outfits
This is the part people don’t see in the shop. Yes, it’s a set. But the printed top also goes over your jeans. The bottom also works under that solid kurti you already own. I have customers who bought one set from me last year and send me photos of it worn four different ways. That’s the arithmetic that makes a co-ord the best value hanging on my racks.
They’re kind to every body
One continuous print from shoulder to ankle makes everyone look taller — that’s just how the eye works. And a good co-ord skims, it doesn’t cling. I’ve watched women of every shape and age walk out of my trial room happy in one, which I honestly cannot say about every silhouette I stock.
And they pack like a dream
Two co-ords in a suitcase and your wedding-weekend wardrobe is sorted, no thinking required at the destination, no “these bottoms don’t go” moment in the hotel room. Whenever a customer mentions travel, I point at the co-ord rack first.
How I style one set three ways
Flats and small studs — daytime, done. Top alone over jeans with sneakers — Sunday. The full set again but with heels and one big earring — dinner. Same purchase. Three different women, almost.
Co-ords are a bit of a signature for us at Auriel. The current sets are on Instagram — or WhatsApp me your size on +91 70586 49865 and I’ll send you what’s in stock right now.
